While the current pandemic has caused enormous upheaval world-wide, it has also provided opportunities for hope and moments of inspiration. #Sew4Lives is one of those unique stories that provides both.
Founded by designers and friends Caroline Berti and Karen Sabag, #Sew4Lives is a network of volunteers who are producing thousands of hospital-grade masks for frontline workers both in New York and across the country – free of charge. The women have not accepted donations and the costs of the materials have been solely the responsibility of their volunteers – until today.
Sunrise Day Camp is proud to affiliate with the #Sew4Lives New York project and create a collaboration called #Sew4Lives X Sunrise Day Camp. In doing so, we will provide a platform whereby donors can make donations, with 100% of the funds benefitting their efforts to purchase materials and continue to provide their masks free of charge to our front-line heroes.
